Will Covex slow down my store?
No. The storefront engine is plain JS, ships under 15 KB gzipped, and loads asynchronously. Widget configs are inlined into your theme via Shopify metafields, so storefronts never wait on our servers to render.
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. Covex is a Shopify Theme App Extension — overlay widgets activate from the theme editor, and inline widgets ship as native theme blocks you can drop into any section. No theme code edits required.
Can I customize colors and copy?
Every widget is fully customizable: copy, colors, scheduling, page targeting, dismissal behavior. The admin uses live previews so you see the result before you publish.
When does Covex launch?
We're putting the final polish on the Shopify App Store listing right now. Join the waitlist and you'll get a launch-day email plus early-access perks. Email alex@bossert.digital if you'd like a sneak peek before then.
How is my data handled?
Storefront events are pseudonymous — we never store visitor PII. Admin tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. We are fully GDPR-aligned with a published DPA, privacy policy, and Impressum.
